Paper Pattern for IBSAT

IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into its management programs. IBSAT score is accepted by a number of management institutes all over the country but mainly the exam is a qualification criterion for getting admission into IBS. It is a two hour Computer-based Test (CBT) conducted across 95 test centers in all the major cities in India and hence the competitive structure of the examination is high.

How to Prepare for IBSAT

Exam Pattern for IBSAT

IBSAT is conducted as an online test having duration of 2 hours. Questions for the test are asked from the following topics.

Verbal Ability

Most of the questions in the session of verbal ability have moderate level of difficulty. There will be 50 questions for this session and questions should be asked from the following topics.

  • English Usage – 10 Questions
  • Cloze Test – 5 Questions
  • Grammar – 10 Questions

Reading Comprehension

There will be three passages for the session of reading comprehension. Around eight questions are asked from each passage. Out of the eight questions, 1-3 questions will be moderately difficult, where as the other remaining easy.

Quantitative Ability

For the session of Quantitative Aptitude, questions are asked from the following topics.

General Knowledge Test

The shortlisted candidates need to take a general knowledge test consisting of 100 multiple choice questions which needed to be complicated within 30 minutes on the day of the interview. This test is especially taken to test the students’ knowledge on current affairs and general knowledge.

Interview

The interview is the final paper pattern for IBSAT which is particularly used for the selection process. The interview panel specifically focuses on testing the knowledge and understanding of the candidates in the attitude, aptitude, and aspirations.
